We have a combined sailing experience skippering and crewing all over Europe from Greek Islands, through the Gibraltar Straits, across the Bay of Biscay and English Channel, around Land's End and Outer Hebrides. Some of which are listed below.

Lou skippered the delivery of a Hurley 22 with its new owner onboard from Brixham to Dale, sailing 400nm around Land's End and the Bristol Channel.

Elin crewed on a 3000nm crossing from Fowey to Ibiza, navigating the English Channel, Bay of Biscay and Gibraltar Straits on a Nauitcat 42. Lou crewed on the delivery of a brand new Lagoon 40 from La Rochelle to Marbella over 1000nm.

Lou spent a season working as a Lead Flotilla Skipper in Greece with just one crew member. The largest flotilla included 73 clients on 18 yachts.

Restoration & Repair

Elin took on the complete restoration project of a 5m wooden dinghy. The boat was riddled with woodworm and star crazed cracks in its fibreglass. Elin restructured the fibreglass and added reinforcement to the keel.

Lou assisted with the refit of a 200gt tallship and 90 year old tallship docked at Albert Dock, Liverpool during the winter. She spent much of her time in the engine rooms and restoring the decks to their former glory.

Lou recently worked at a boatyard in Pembrokeshire where she assisted in the repair, maintenance and fitting of outboard and inboard engines, powerboats and sailing yachts. She also launched boats using telehandlers and dumpers, delivered boats to and from moorings, seatrialled vessels and maintained deep water moorings onboard a workboat.

Lou was crowned Female British Champion at the 2018 Topper National Championships. In the previous year, Lou was placed 3rd at the World Championships hosted in Loctudy, France.

Elin bumped into one of our role models, Pip Hare, while returning from training on Medallia they were moored in the same marina.

Lou was 1st female at the Inland National Championships hosted in Grafham as well as in the National Series, a chain of 6 competitions over the year around the UK.
